Project Two
GIMP3
For the next assignment in class, we used GIMP to create these really fun and cool-looking figures. Out of all the GIMP assignments, number three would be my favorite as it is a fish in a light bulb. I thought the making process was super cool and luckily it turned out nice as it was not as difficult as I thought it was going to be. But like all the other assignments there were run-ins now and then but overall I am glad about how the project turned out.

As for our independent assignment that had to be done from home, it was easy to comprehend as the instructions were clear and understandable. I had no problem re-creating this next project as GIMP1 was done in class and I had created similar project years back using Adobe Photoshop. For my subject, I used a ballerina silhouette along with flowers as its body as I wanted to reference an elegant assignment.

Our first assignment with GIMP was definitely not easy for me as there were many problems I encountered when first using the program. I used the GIMP program to create this dog that had a background of a flower, then I splattered paint around the body to give it a nice artistic vibe to it. Even though there was a hardship, I am glad at how great my assignment turned out.
Inkscape
Inkscape was another program that I was unfamiliar with but the assignment was super easy as it was creating something not based on instructions but on our own imagination. In the assignment, different shapes and colors were used to create a man-made superhero.
At first, I messed around a little with the different shapes but I made sure I was still following along with my professor. In the end, I liked the idea for this assignment of creating something from scratch as it improves my imaginative side of me.
